Hello blogosphere,
I am an anonymous respiratory therapist, just one in a sea of white coats out there. I have decided to come to the blogosphere because my stories tend to depress people in person and I need to get this out of my system. For a long while I worked at a hospital that I’ll call Our Lady of Immaculate Grace, which is tucked away in a forgotten corner of a backwater community in the woods up North.
These are my stories. Tell me what you think.
This is exactly my experience from the side-rails over 27 years of critical-care nursing, except that the PICU did tend to have actual functioning equipment thanks to a more-recently-in-the-clinical-world nursing administration than usual. But oh, my dearie-dear, how you have nailed it on its pointy little head, this sad and over-worked world of ours.
